Zain is one of the most talented and gifted people I know that is my age. I worked with him directly on the UGA HEROs Executive Board within the Internal Group. He is a natural leader who motivated an entire body of over 2,000 students to accomplish what no other student organization in the history of UGA has been able to achieve: Raising over $360,000, winning ‘Organization of the Year’ in consecutive years, and becoming the largest organization on campus.
I worked with Zain for 1 1/2 years and was able to watch him grow and excel as a leader. He is able to command a room by his presence alone, and his peers have nothing but the utmost respect for him. He is cool and calm under pressure and is able to maintain a professional demeanor in challenging situations. On the flip side, Zain could, literally, pump up a room of over 700 people in 15 seconds.
I worked with Zain on a financial turnaround project I did for a charter school system. His innovative approaches to employee benefits plan designs was a key component to improving the financial position without sacrificing coverages. Throughout my 2 ½ year engagement, Zain and his staff were responsive, reliable, and could always to counted on for innovative ideas. Zain was seen as a business partner to the Executive Team and the combination of his expertise in healthcare strategy and as an Entrepreneur and CEO himself, he brings significantly more value to the table than a "broker".
